To Whom It May Concern,
As a life-long Democrat, a person who still calls it the Democratic Party and not the Democrat Party, I have become a devoted watcher of the programs on MSNBC. I pretty much watch the evening line-up of Mathews Sharpton, Ed, Rachel and O’Donnell each and every night. If it wasn’t for these, I wouldn’t watch TV News of any kind. Well, maybe I’d go back to Keith, I think you guys owe him your lunch money…
However, the obsession with the Republican Presidential field this year above almost all else has become absolutely withering…
Other than the odd live Obama snippet on The Ed Show, the nightly line up hardly cover the Democrats at all…and these people are ALL DEMOCRATS!
Can’t we please get an evening once in a while devoted to Obama? How about a week dedicated to the Congressional and Senate races around the nation, FROM THE DEMOCRATS point of view?
Last night, Friday 3-16, I sat down to watch Mathews, whom I truly enjoy, and when he dragged in the usual suspects to begin another marathon coverage of a new Republican presidential primary battle, I sat back and thought, I can’t take one more word of this, and turned on a hockey game.
I want to know what is going in in the Senate race in Massachusetts, I want to know what the Dems are doing to win back the House and bolster their lead in the Senate. And I no longer give a rats rear end about ANY of the Republican presidential contenders.
